Heidelberg, in conjunction with our major Women in Print sponsors Bluestar Printing Group and GEON, held a Women in Print breakfast forum at PacPrint on Thursday 28th May.
Based on feedback from Heidelberg Women in Print events held this year, it was apparent that women in the print media industry wanted to hear from other successful women about their achievements, challenges and approach to work and life in general.
The forum involved a panel of women from the print media industry who shared their thoughts, ideas and experiences covering a variety of topics, including work/life balance challenges facing our industry, business success, personal development, and training and mentoring in the print media industry.
Speakers included a number of prominent women from the print media industry including Susan Heaney, Managing Director of Heaney’s Performers in Print, Sarah Thomas, LIA Apprentice of the Year, Anne Read, Managing Director Lithoprint (NZ), Helen Woods, Production Co-ordinator for Canberra Times (Fairfax Media Group) and Belinda Baker, Victorian Sales Manager Daltons Paper.
Heidelberg would like to thank all sponsors for their continued support of Heidelberg Women in Print. Support extends beyond financial contributions to the employees of sponsor companies and organisations who dedicate many hours to arranging events around the country and promoting events through the media. These included:
